Scientists from the Belgian Institute for Space Aeronomy, BIRA-IASB and the Royal Observatory of Belgium, ROB are interested in different aspects of Mars:

They want to understand how a planet, originally probably very similar to the Earth, could become what it is today: a seemingly dry and sterile desert, frequently blasted by powerful sandstorms. And they want a definitive answer to the question of whether there is life on Mars, or if there was life in the past.
